Meet Author- Simon Andras Peter

Introduction: I’m Simon (full name Simon András Péter), I’m a professional blogger with over 500 blog posts published on more than 30 websites. (Full author profile can be found on my Google Plus account in the “About” section at “Contributor to:”). I’m not a book author, but over the years I have written and published the equivalent of about 10 books. Sometimes I’m a ghost writer, sometimes a paid professional writer and sometimes I’m just writing for fun, or exposure (and I also have my own blog).


 
What inspires you?
 
Ever since I was 18, I wanted to make a living online. Obviously, at that time It was not entirely clear to me how I’m going to achieve it. Besides writing I also work in online marketing in various capacities, mostly as a content manager. I can truly say, that I make living online 100%, for 6 years now.
 
 
Who influences you?
 
Making money online is often a lonely job, with very little collaboration. However, when I do get the chance to work with others that has a lasting influence. During my career as an online author I meet some wonderful, interesting and inspirational people from all over the world. They influenced me a lot and they still inspire me to this day.
 
 
What are you working on now?
 
I have started my own little business Simon’s Online Marketing Kft. to have some sort of legal entity behind my author portfolio. Currently. I’m working on establishing myself as a professional writer, content manager and online marketing professional.
 
 
Where do you prefer to write?
 
On my own blog. :) But creating Wordpress websites for companies is really my favourite. Writing in a professional style about business and companies is really my favourite, and it is really easy too.
 
 
What is your favorite genre to read? 
 
Alternate history fiction. They are extremely interesting.
 
 
Where do your ideas come from?
 
I always carry with me a notebook (old school paper notebook) and if I have a great idea - which can happen anytime during the day - I write it down. Then I upload them in a Google sheet at home. It has more than 300 blog post ideas in it currently. This way I always have great ideas for blog posts to choose from.
 
 
Which publications are you most proud of?
 
There are quite a few. I have started to collect them 2 years ago on a Pinterest board, along with press mentions, interviews and awards I have received.
 
 
How do you make the world a better place?
 
Hopefully in more than one way. As an online writer often my assignments are about gambling, drugs, forex trading, Bitcoin and other niches with an unsavory reputation. I always make sure when I write about such that I focus on prevention, safety, harm reduction and responsible use, even if I end up not getting paid. There are things I just don’t comprise on.
