Now an underwriting consultant and an author, Glazer is one of the industry’s most in-demand professionals and is widely regarded as one of the most effective mentors to newcomers to the profession. Given her status as a leading consultant and respected industry veteran, it is only natural that Glazer would be encouraged to put her valuable insights down on paper as the author of “Randi Glazer’s 12 Strategies for Surviving a Career in the Business World.” The author of a number of articles and books covering an incredibly broad range of subjects, Glazer’s most recent publication seeks to preserve the advice she received as an up-and-comer in the world of business. Recognizing the unfortunate lack of adequate mentors for newcomers to the business world, Glazer has taken it upon herself to serve in a something of a surrogate role through the frequent publication of articles and books. When Glazer came up in her industry, there was a greater degree of organizational stability and therefore more professionals willing and able to help guide those new to underwriting. With the assistance of strong mentors throughout her early years as an underwriter, Glazer went on to enjoy tremendous professional success and ultimately moved into her current role as an author and underwriting consultant. Known for her ability to continually reinvent herself and her role within the business world, Glazer spent several years working in international business and benefited from her years of experience doing reinsurance as well. Drawing on her varied professional experience, Glazer’s written work frequently includes anecdotes used to reinforce a particular concept or idea she has advanced. Through her personal storytelling that details the many trying circumstances she has encountered over the years, Glazer has developed the unique ability to entertain her readers while also providing insightful advice on how to deal with the difficult issues that are sure to arise during a lengthy career in just about any industry. With specific philosophies developed over the course of decades of professional experience, Glazer often shares strategies that can be universally applied or adapted to suit a wide range of circumstances in the most effective manner possible. This is especially the case when the subject turns to many traditional business settings, particularly since Glazer is exceptionally adept at dealing with office politics along with the many other issues that tend to come up in organizations that continue to utilize an outdated leadership structure that results in an untenable amount of inefficiency in daily operations. As an author and a consultant, Glazer has continued to exert her influence over the business world and has helped many professionals become more adept at navigating an increasingly difficult career path. While the mentors that aided Glazer early in her career have long since retired, the extensive work of their mentee has ensured that their expert insights continue to guide newcomers to the profession. In passing on this wisdom, Glazer has sharpened and adapted their message and philosophy to better reflect the current state of the industry and has worked diligently to ensure that this advice reaches as many individuals as possible through the frequent publication of articles and books. The ability to be and do whatever I want in life. I have worked a number of different careers in my life and I have enjoyed most of them, most importantly I have gained a broad spectrum of experience that has only helped me succeed in each job. -Who influences you? Guy’s like Elon Musk, Donald Trump, Mark Cuban, people who started with little, failed immensely but never gave up on their dream. These men ultimately fought through their way through bankruptcies, adversities, technological changes and yet they never gave up on pursuing their dreams. -What are you working on now? Right now I am working on book four of a six part series discussing what a future World War III may look like. From how it may ultimately start, it’s escalation and whether America will ultimately survive and remain a superpower or ultimately be defeated. Having worked in military intelligence for 10+ years I have worked at the highest levels of intelligence and gained a firm understanding of both world politics, economics and military advancements. - Where do you prefer to write? It’s silly but I like to write from home in my favorite leather rocking chair with my headphones on, a 16oz. Red Bull and my laptop. -What is your favorite genre to read? I love to read alternative history books and books about entrepreneurs. I like the alternative history books because I like to look at the “What if” scenario and see how things could have played if a different decision was made. Life doesn’t give us do overs, but I like to read about do overs. I also like to read books about the pioneers in industry. These are people who did the impossible and never let an obstacle get in their way. It’s hard to work full-time and be a writer but I’m making it happen. -Where do your ideas come from? My ideas come from a variety of things, reading books and seeing how I could do it better, real life adventures I’ve had from my time in the military and Iraq to working in intelligence. I have a vivid imagination. -If you wrote a book a year, how many years would you be writing with ideas you have right now? I would be writing for the rest of my life. I already have my next three, six book series already mapped out in my head and look forward to starting them soon. Read his first book by purchasing it here from Amazon. By Paige Hedley Those who leave never grow old. It isn’t fair. It isn’t fair at all.” Because some people come along and take everything that’s worth anything out of you, so that all you have left is the sediment of love, sloshing around in the bottom of your belly, unpalatable to all but the most dedicated of junkies. Because we are forever underestimating the lesser loves, the people who scrape up the pieces when it all falls apart. Because nothing says I love you like helping to hide a dead body. And because every pair of socks in the whole world has a left foot. A tale of love, infatuation, friendship and murder. And a girl from Santiago. Order your copy today from Amazon by clicking here! |
