I am so glad you are here. I'm Elizabeth and if we haven't met, I'm an author, a full-time traveler and the creator of the Lavender Letters Story Subscription! If you are looking for the most entertaining and educational podcast about the dark side of American history (if I do say so myself...) look no further than the Bag ofBones Podcast! Being a story-teller at heart and an hobby historian, it seemed fitting I started my podcast adventure with Bag of Bones. Here we skip the statistics and "boring" parts of history and go straight to the spooky, curious, and peculiar stories with a good dose of true crime from America's history.
There is The Beyond the Bones Blog; for an additional fix for your American history curiosities! Sometimes it's an extension of a Bag of Bones episode, other times it's a quick story or interesting information on a historic place I visited.
If you want to follow me on my traveling adventures, where I highlight the places and historic sites, museums, adventures, local food and culture, the Ginger Life Travel Blog would be the place to go and then there's my signature, Ginger Life Blog. In this blog, which has been building since 2012, are the insights into my personal thoughts and ideas along with wisdom and personal growth strategies that I have definitely tried on for size over the years. At this point in my life, I realize that we are only here for a moment and it's important to make the very best of the days we are given. Not all days are peachy, but all days are valuable.
In short, I am happiest when I am traveling down the highway to places new and familiar, camping out where the wifi doesn't work, meeting new friends along the way, sharing all my adventures with you and creating "nourishing fiction" in my downtime. I am usually found in any warm climate, often near water... at times goofing off at a tourist trap but at all times, ready to Lead with Love.
