Meet Elizabeth Bourgeret
Hello! In case you couldn't know from my cleverly named website, I'm Elizabeth Bourgeret. I am an author, a blogger, a podcast host, a momma, a Grammy and a full-time traveler.
I have written several books, both fiction and non-fiction and am the creator of the Lavender Letters subscription series. (A whole NEW way to read a book!)
I was born and raised in St. Louis, MO, I've traveled to many of the United States, by truck and camper and look forward to checking them all off my list. I love visiting and photographing beautiful places, meeting new people, rediscovering history and sharing my experiences with the world.
I am always deep into historical research of some kind, usually around where I am parked at the moment. I love seeing historical places and then doing a deep dive of history all around it.
I love traveling from campsite to campsite experiencing everything this country has to offer up close and personal. I share what I learn and my adventures through my blogs and Bag of Bones Podcast, enjoying the places, the people and the history along every mile.
I am happiest when I'm out on the open road, I love offering historical tours or story-telling opportunities wherever I go and creating "nourishing fiction" in my downtime.

The Ginger Life Travel Blog is all about my travels and adventures. Places I go, tourist traps, historic sites, museums, food, and all the details in case you want to go too!
Beyond the Bones is my history blog. It's sometimes an extension of the Bag of Bones Podcast. Sometimes it's interesting tidbits of history that I just couldn't wait to share.
(I do apologize- I intend to blog so much more than I do. I have so many photos and stories that need a home, but I also have books to write and I get completely side-tracked with all kinds of new plans and ideas. Lol! Such is the life of a creative.)
