The Haunted House, Bubba Rouse & the Mouse By: Lawrence Ingle Written by Lawrence Ingle in the 70's and published in 2022. This un-scary story rhyme/poem is about a curious young boy investigating noises coming from within an older abandoned house, who enters the haunted looking house and is met by ghosts. The ghosts were everywhere! But Bubba got the upper hand on the ghosts and to this day, he still laughs about it. Yet after Bubba left that haunted house he ran into a costumed mouse who told Bubba about the day and time of year it was. Bubba was surprised that he had forgotten what day it was, Halloween! Was Bubba at the age where he felt that trick or treating was only for the younger generation, or what? Lawrence has many other illustratable poems/rhymes to publish in the near future and looks forward to having your encouraging support in his efforts to bring his heartfelt thoughts to you, in print.
