Dante’s Cool Wheels is a compassionate story of one dog’s transition to living with a disability.

This is Dante’s story and he’s the one to tell it. Told in first-person narrative, the plot follows Dante as he grows up in a loving home after being adopted from a shelter.

Dante tells us about his accident and the sadness he felt when he could no longer run and play. When he meets new friends, including a three-legged dog and a little boy in a wheelchair, Dante knows his life is complete and they make a fine team of determined young people.

This is a great inspirational story, pointing out to young readers that we’re all different and have different disabilities, but we need to accept each other for who we are, just like Dante.
