Dr. Mitchell has hosted a radio program over 20 years called "Good News For You". The radio program is a division of Joy Youth Services, www.joyyouthservices.org, a faith-based organization for disadvantaged youth in which Dr. Mitchell is founder. The primary program is known as "Chess Between You and Me" in which children are taught mathematics as well as life skills.
Dr. Mitchell's overall mission in life is to strengthen youth and families. Whether through her books, radio, the internet or Joy Youth Services, Dr. Mitchell continues to strive daily to achieve this goal.
